Hey Gang, My son got a Predator Classic recurve not too long ago. Wondering what you folks shoot and what works for ya. I'm not much help on recurves, I primarily shoot Hill style bows.

Here are his Vitals -

Bow - 55 @ 28", with the velcro shelf pad its right on dead center shot. FF

Shooter - draws 27 3/4 - 28"

Arrow preference - GT Trad or CX Heritage about 30" BOP in the 550g total range.

Thanks

Eric

Eric, a Heritage 250  29" long with 175 gr head will put you very close. The GT 55/75 will also fly good but it won't weigh that much.
I shoot Easton 400's and Heritage 150's also out of my Predators
I draw 28" and shoot 53 & 54#. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Good shooting, Jerry

Thanks Jerry,

Whats your 150 setup like for length and weight?

I wish they made a Heritage that spined between 400-420

Eric, I have a Predator 51#@28"(my dl). I shoot Legacy 2018, cut 29.5 in with 150grn WWs, fly great, I also shoot GT5575s at 30" with 250grn total up front. The GTs are also weighted with weed eater line or 550 para cord. Hope this helps.  :wavey:    :campfire:

Eric, my 150's are 29" long and weigh 535grs with a 175gr
field point. The deflection on the 150's is .487 and is probably a little less with the 150gr head.
