Trying To Find Information On A Bow

Hello, I'm new to the site and to Trad Archery and I'm addicted already!

I recently purchased this used reflex/deflex longbow and I can't seem to find any information on this brand or the bowmakers.

It is a Canyon Archery Traditions "Cougar" and was built in June of 2003 by Mike Baker and Ken Bentliss out in Canyon, Tx. Apparently is was the 4th bow they built!







It shoots like a dream, looks great and I'm very happy with it, but I'd sure like to know a little history on it.

Anyone know these guys??

At the risk of repeating myself, as I said on the r/d D bow thread, that bow is absolutely stunning. Really nice work - both building it initially and your work in restoring it. I can understand your pride in it and hope you chase down some leads.

Yep BoDork is the culprit. One of my fav for unique and outstanding bows.
'Schlubbbbb' hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Now we know what Killy really thinks . LOL

Thank you Tim. That at least is a start! I don't think that site is current as most of the pages are dead. My bow is 9 yrs old, so I don't know if he is even still in business.

I sent him an email. I'll let you know if he replies.

If you click on longbows from the side you can bring up picks and enlarge them by clicking on them. As your bow has an arrow under the handle most of the bows have some type of design like that.

Put your cursor between the w and s in longbows(only way it worked for me)

OK, did some additional searching and it is Bodork! Looks like the last time he posted was March 15th. I sent him an email. Hopefully I can get some info from him...riser wood, company history, etc.

Yes, I did see all of the pictures. It's definetly his bow!
