Hi All,

I was looking for back quivers when i came across Vista Maverick II back quiver on cabelas.I am very interested in this due to the fact that it has a pocket for takedown recurve.

Is anybody here using this quiver currently? if yes then can you please let me know Pro and cons of this quiver.

Thanks in advance.

I have 2 of them. I like them, I got them from fellas who did not...LOL! I replaced the fuzzy strap on mine, but they work well for what I want!

Thanks for the post Ron,

One question though, How big is the compartment meant for takedown recurve? Do you think it will easily take a normal takedown bow?

The riser would have to be short, there is a pocket behind the zippered one where the limbs go. I used mine last weekend to carry my arrows, tab and arm guard and my 2pc longbow in that pocket!

I have one as well. Can't attest to the takedown size 'cause I don't own one(yet). I've been using mine for backyard shoots and its pretty comfortable, I do have an older Bear back quiver that I like as well. The Vista is wider and taller than the Bear and I believe it holds more arrows. I think it would be a good hunting quiver for the winter, it has a big front pocket and the takedown slot for a little more storage. Don't have much time using it in the summer, so I don't know if its too warm on the back? I picked up a side quiver on
my last trip to my local archery shop and I'm really
liking how I can use that one as vertical and horizontal. carry.
