Title pretty much says it all.  My 42# 60" Kanati is needing a new string.  Thanks for the help everyone!

SBD bowstrings are great. SBD is a sponsor here. Their 6-strand strings are very fast.

Same situation here, I've got 2 custom bows but have never owned a custom string. I spoke with Pierre at SBD strings last week and have 2-10 strand strings with the yarn wraps and yarn silencers on order as of today. I'm very excited about getting them, I asked Pierre to make me the same string Terry Green uses on his PCH Widow (thanks Terry!) These strings will be going on my PSAX and MAX Black Widows.

I have used both Oliverstacy and LRU with good success.

SBD, and you can get stock 8 strand strings, if you're not after something fancy, in a couple of days from Tim at Braveheart Archery. Pierre and Tim are both sponsors here.

Oliverstacy all the way. I've been getting strings from him for years & nobody else's compare.

Oliverstacy (Josh) makes an awesome string. Beware though...your bow will perform so much better you'll have to buy some stiffer arrows!  :D  Definitely my string maker from now on!

All of our string makers are pretty good at it.  LBR has been twisting strings for a LONG time, Bear Bowman is very good as is SBD.  I have several strings by Oliverstacy and am totally pleased with them.  I think Oliverstacy makes the strings for JK's Kanati bows so he will know exactly what you need.  You can find them all in the Sponsor's lists and classifieds.

I'm sure everyone listed above makes a great string but I will only ever use SBD strings.  Not only do you get years of experience twisted into every string they make, they stand behind every twist with nothing less than 100% commitment.  One call and you will understand.

Thanks for all the help guys. Talked with Josh (Oliverstacey) and he got me set up.
