Wow, very sharp! Making my own wood arrows is my next personal challenge to myself. I'll be happy if my first batch turns out half this good!

Yep same here.  It sure is fun making your own arrows isn't it?  And you get to play around with different stains, cresting, and feathers all in the same dozen.

when I go into wood arrows I made my own cresting machine. I'll have to dig out the photos but it was real easy and way cheaper than buying one.

And one last thing, When I make mine I also use wipe on poly and do like 4 coats and then do another 2 or 3 coats over the entire arrow after cresting. Helps the cresting hold up much better.

I received some snuffers that I bought on the classifieds today and decided to see how they would fly.  They flew perfect without having to make any tuning adjustments.  I guess I got lucky on the tuning of the arrows.  Thanks to many on this site,  I can't wait until next deer season!  I just booked my first out of state hunt to Pike Co, Illinois during the rut.

I think they look damn good, especially for the first go at it. I tried and mine  ended up holding windows in the summer. Nice arrows sir you should be proud, I know I would be.
