Almost a year ago my wife and I were the winning bidders of the coveted "long-curve" the Montana Bowhunters Association auctions off each year.  This bow is a one of a kind, with one limb being a recurve limb and one being a longbow limb.  With a shelf cut in on each side you can shoot either a recurve or longbow depending on your mood that day.  We had an awesome year shootin with this bow.  I was able to shoot about a thousand stumps 25 cow pies and one unlucke squirrel from the top of a tree.  Hopefully we will see some of you at this years convention at the end of the month and one of you will be lucky enough to take this bow home for a year.

Unique looking bow.  Glad your family had an opportunity to enjoy it.

I have to say that is some bow. Never seen one like it. Congrats to you folks.

Never have I seen a bow with two different kinds of limbs on it like that....unique to say the least.  I really like the We Are Marshall shirt.  I am in WV. My grandson is a Marshall student.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Yep it is a unique bow.  It was made as a joke, but it has raised a lot of money for the montana bowhunters over the years.
My wife grew up in Lincoln county W.V. before headin for big sky country.

Like others have said, I've never seen a bow with one recurve limb and one longbow limb.

BTW, very nice photos.

That bow cracks me up, can't wait to see it in Butte at the end of the month. Definately a great way to raise money, and you actually killed something w/ it. Nice job!

That's neat, I'd like to try one.  God bless.

Well......it is still as ugl....uhm....I mean....unique as it was when first presented in Billings (if my memory is correct) in 1997.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
