On the secound stand in some mature almonds looking twords some young olives. Made three howls then some fox crys and screams. Called for about 15 minutes and nothing . was getting ready to go and a train comes buy a little ways off. Sounded like dozens of coyotes out in the olives . Let the train go buy and moved closer to the olives. Did a chalenge howl and was answerd right back . That pair was going nuts. Did some dog screams and waited . There he was running right at me ,got ready. He gets to 20 yards and does not stop took a shot but the arrow went just over its shoulder   :knothead:  .. never slowed for a good shot. Best looking one this year and I miss . Later at another spot had one hang up out there aways and just sat there looking at me and the decoy. Had some big jack rabbits come in but left them alone. get them later. Boy theres cottontails all over now.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you catch up with him again!

Dang you make coyote hunting sound like fun and easy too!

I know for a fact that the word "easy" and coyote don't belong in the same sentence.

Is that because I'm not doing it correctly?...lol

Thanks for sharing another of your "yote" adventures with us.

God bless,Mudd

You do pretty darn well to arrows into as many as you do!

Tim, what decoy are you using?

Is it fairly portable?

Where did you buy it?

Appreciate your comments.
