I am considering using Jim's broadheads and was looking for any info I could get from others who have used them. I was thinking of using the Big Game head myself.  I was impressed with the video he has on his website, tough heads for sure. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Blackhawk

I don't use them myself, but witnessed their use this past season on a 150 lb. blacktail doe.  My partner made a high lung shot (from a distance I was not comfortable with) and I observed a spray of blood from both sides of the animal.  She went 20 yards and was done.

These heads are definitely worthy of consideration.

It's an excellent broadhead. No doubt about it. I rate it right up there next to a Simmons.

They are good heads .. I've taken Elk and deer with them and they do leave a good blood trail. However they seem to be alittle inconsistent in material/ or hardness. I've had a few break and this fall I spined a whitetail and the head folded over .. it was a bad hit without question.

I have had great luck with the Big Game heads! I have used them the last 2 years and have killed 2 bucks and 4 does with them. I saw 5 of the 6  deer go down within 10-50 yds of my stand. These heads leave a big, big hole(s). Oh yeah, if you're into a lot of deer blood on the ground, these are the heads for you. They fly really well, also. Jim even makes a "pretty" good bow. Peace!
