Moose hunting with Hunter's Point

Some of you have been emailing me about bear and moose hunting at Hunter's Point in Maine. I got a question yesterday I couldn't answer regarding which areas Eldon can guide in  for Moose. Those of you who are entering the Maine Moose lottery and would like to hire Eldon to guide you if you get lucky should put in for areas 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6. If you get drawn for another area the State of Maine allows permitees to swap areas with other hunters and I believe that info is on the Maine website.

In addition, Eldon is seeing a good increase in bear hunt bookings this year so if you have a particular week in mind you probably should give him a call ASAP and reserve a spot. One of the bears taken last year (with a compound) made Boone and Crockett!!!! There are some awfully big ones up there.
