There is a GREAT thread going on the Dangerous Game forum that everyone should see.
":Skeleton of buff" by kibok&ko.
FANTASTIC pictures of actual skeletons and pics of downed buffs that will blow your mind and make you think.
For everyone whos never seen a cape's structure but says "50#s is plenty....heh, think again!!!!!!!

If I ever get to hunt a buff, it will be one of our homegrown ones. That cape buff is like a fortress, and makes our American bison look really puny by comparison.

Thanks for the post. I must say the cape buffalo wears a real suit of armor. Seemed to be better gaps in the ribs of the american bison.
