These are .500's. I have a few that the threads are messed up on and they are glued in with JB Weld so I doubt I can get them out without damaging the shaft. I want to try to fix the threads, what size tap do I need?

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

BOWMARKS

Last time I checked all inserts are tapped the same, 8-32.
Kanati Long Bow 56"-45#@27"
Hoot's Long Bow 56"-45#@27"
Shrew Classic Hunter 56"-47#@28"

Yep, otherwise we'd be buying different points for different inserts. Like deep6 for example.
