On every bow I have owned so far the bows will stretch a new string to exactly where they want their brace height and when I go to tune them after I have shot them a few times if I set the brace height higher than what it was say 7" than the bow will stretch it back to 7" no matter if it is a new or broke in string. Just wondering if this is what everyone else's bows do or if mine are "special"

Some strings just seem to stretch for a long time.

Make sure the string isnt comming apart as well
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

I know that the strings are not coming apart as I have had strings over a year old that are in great shape do this on my bows.

Are they all Flemish twist strings?

JamesKerr

Yes they are all flemish twist. I have no idea why they are doing this. I really don't see it as a problem as my bows shoot fine where they settle in to. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen.
