anyone on here done it?  i was looking at this, and for all the years in the foreseeable future ill have a week off during this every year (i have a great job), so i think im going to start applying for it.  im sure it will take a while to get it, as im just starting this year to collect points, but looks like a fun spot and stalk type hunt.
anyone tried it?
is it September yet??

I have not done the late season bull hunt. I have heard from those that have that it is a tough hunt. I had a late season cow tag this year and due to the extreme lack of snow the elk were still at 9-10 thousand feet in Jan. Needless to say I saw no elk. Start putting in and when you get a bunch of points let me know. But it is a general season hhunt so there are more folks that put in for it as well.

will do steadman!  i dont mind the tougher hunt, this would just basically be another elk season, instead of the usual looking for whitetails or muleys then.  thanks for the bump mitch!!!
is it September yet??
