i have a martin savannah 50#@28" i am trying to select some aluminum arrows for my bow. someone correct me if i am wrong but from what the chart said with a 125g point i need a 2016 arrow at 29". Is this correct?

**DONOTDELETE**

DON'T USE THE EASTON CHART..

Yes, 2016's w/125grn should work just fine maybe even 2018's

I would start with the shaft full length as cut down a little at a time until it comes into tune. Ya never it may end up 30"

The Easton chart runs heavy. If I were shooting that setup,I'd need at least 145 grs on a 2016,possibly heavier.

Formby

i like the 125 grain points so would i be better getting a 1916 at 29"?

Possum Head

JimB said it right.Seems those charts always want to overspine a man, even on carbons. If they tell ya 400 most of the time I find 500s work better.

Try this

it said 2117 or 2216 for wseight of 348gr or
2215 or 2314 for weight or 310gr
People need to get a life. That dose not mean to take someone else's, or to make one they can't support.

If you fish and hunt only to catch or kill something. You have MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY.

The 60's Easton chart says,  1916's or 1918's so with that kind of weight on the end, 2016;s should work fine.

Red Beastmaster

With a 50# longbow I would lean toward a 1916 with 125gr points. With a 50# recurve the 2016 would be good.

I always drop one spine group when chosing arrows for a longbow. My buddy taught me that a long time ago and it has saved me a whole lot of grief, and money.
