I wanted to give a little background before I get to the real reason for this post. I moved down to Pensacola, Fl from Connecticut in May of 2004. The first person in the neighborhood I met was Larry Surtees. Anyone who has ever met Larry can attest to the fact that he greats you with a smile on his face, and is one of the truly best guys out there. He is responsible for introducing me to the Trad world. I had the wonderful opportunity to go bow fishing with Larry and Chris on a couple of occasions and always had a blast doing it. Now onto the reason for this post, last Tuesday I came home from work at lunch time to find a white tube sitting in my garage. When I opened the tube up to say I was shocked would be an understatement. Inside was a Shrew Classic Hunter and a Note from Gregg Coffey. I got the opportunity to call and talk to Gregg the night that I received the bow, and was amazed at how easy it was to talk to him. In our conversation we talked about Trad Gang and how it seems like those who frequent this site seem to be a great set of people. I am truly amazed at the gesture that Gregg made, and I am truly thankful to both he and Larry. I just wanted to tell them Thanks.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures, I will try to get my wife to help me get some better photos.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
