I wonder if it wold work if Ron would make a round stone for his knife sharpener to use on the Simmons. Something like a ceramic rod adapted to use on the knife sharpener.  John

I sharpen my Simmons with a 1/2 inch wide vertical belt sander (to set the grind angle lower) and then the 3 sided Jewel stick with the head mounted in the Redi-edge (I think its called).  I would love to be able to do everything on my KME knife sharpener.  We need that half round diamond stone set Ron.

I use a gatco(like lansky) guide and then use a dianomd jewelstick(3 sided) that has a rod in the end of it. It fits into the guide and then you use the jewelstick like a file. It will get them scary sharp.  BILL

Hopefully you will see me as a better person today than I was yesterday..

Hey Ron, just got your product and I love it! Along with the round ceramic suggestion above, think about a fine metal file for the stone clamp for beveling the angles quicker. Takes me awhile to find the burr using your coarse stone.
Overall great product, some of my sharpest edges yet have come from the kme knife sharpener.
