Does a right handed shooter need a RW Helical? or does this not matter?

Tie two birds together; though they have four wings, they can not fly.

No it doesn't matter,I'm RH and shoot both. These days with most arrows that have tunable nocks you can just rotate for best clearence.

I'm right handed but I use RW feathers. I think most right handers use LW feathers. But, as already stated, it don't matter which.

Doesn't matter. I'm right handed and I shoot LW on my longbow. When I used RW I had a lot of fletching interference, and in the end of the day the feathers was in not good conditions. But I'm still using RW on my recurve, with no problems.

I'm right handed and I've always shot 5" right wing feathers.

I do so because the archery shop where I bought my feathers 47 years ago had a ton of 5" right wing feathers in stock. The right wing feathers worked very well for me so I never really had an "excuse" to try left wing feathers.

I agree that it does not matter for most of us, BUT you may want to consider a couple things:

1.  Shooting off the knuckle "may" cause cuts if a righty uses RW feathers.

2.  RW or LW "may" affect single bevel broadhead flight.
