I am new to trad still learning. I have a back quiver it holds about 12 or so arrows but I am in the process of buying a hoyt buffalo 60#r. Ok I want a bow mounted quiver also so how many arrows do ya'll in a bow mounted quiver. I have been looking at all your pics on this sight and from what I can see u have from 2 holder to 6 so I don't want that much weight but I don't want to run out of arrows while shooting at turkey deer and what ever else I can shoot. I will carry my back quiver for stump shooting but what about hunting what do ya think Mike

4-5 is usually sufficient

4 broadheads and 1 Judo point for me.

Traditional bowhunting is often a game of seconds... and inches!

4 with broadheads and 1 blunt. I like limb mount or strap on quivers.

I carry 2 broadheads in a skookum bow quiver. Think of it as an old side x side shotgun.
I do carry an extra broadhead in my pack in case I stick one in a tree and can't get it out.
I have missed once or twice :-)

I like the 3 nice broadheads, 1 2nd choice random  broadhead for coyotes, and 1 steel blunt.. I like the blunt because its thick around here and for really thumping something the blunt gets through..

my opinion is the 5 arrow quivers are just right I think,,,, I say stick with a quiver that connects the top and bottom like the great northern only because if that time does come where you shoot all 5-arrows then you'll have 2 empty quiver sections sliding up and down or wiggling around on your limbs for that last shot which because of that won't happen,,,GN's stay in the same spot even empty!

also I say do not buy anything that connects to the limbs using velcro if you plan on removing it,, velcro used in the woods is just obsurd...
