Well, my daughters and I have been checking out the wooded area at the back of our neighborhood after school this past week. Each time out we have run into a couple does hanging out and lying down in this one particular area. The are there every day around the same time. I had a feeling someone else would be there today, and I told Gwyn that I bet we see the buck today. We come up on a little sun drenched slope where we have seen the deer. Standing right in front of us behind a bush is a buck! He is about 10-12 yards from us. We also notice a doe hiding under a multi-floral rose bush right in front of him. I slip up the camera and snap off a few pics. Sorry fellas, not allowed to shoot here. I took my mental shots. I just can't believe how long he stood there. I actually got worried for the girls a little.
