Hi, Ray.

THE ADMIRAL asks why I need so many arrows.  Well, every bow needs a dozen broadheads, a dozen blunts, a dozen field tips . . . No, wait, three dozen blunts (stumps, rabbits, etc.) Better have a few extra with broadheads as insurance; there's a few coyotes needing perforation.  And you never know there could be another run on cedar or fir like there was in 1990 (shudder), so it's just good sense to keep a gross of raw shafts . . .

i just started making a room of stuff but i dont think i will ever end up with my room looking like that its just beautiful now i have something to strive for thanks

I've been using Douglas fir mostly.  It seems to be maybe 25% more durable (11/32" fir vs. 23/64" cedar) but by golly the shafts are straight and stay straight.  That alone convinced me.

Still do cedar occasionally.  It works nice and the smell is unbeatable.
