I am shooting a 58" Bear Super Grizzly it says it is 40X@28, but under the strike plate it says 45. I am assuming that means 45@28. I am pulling to 28 and shooting 2016's cut to 29.5 with a 250 grain point and right handed. Bare shafts are hitting nock left, but fletched arrows are hitting straight. Am I over spined or would this be a form issue?
Both bare shafts and fletched arrows are hitting together at about 10 yards.
Thanks

Bare shafts hitting knock left should mean weak.Try dropping down to 175-200 gr point weight and see if it changes. If you can,I would back up some also and see what is happening at 15 for starters, then 20 and 25.

JimB is right on. Also if you get down to 175 and still nock left and dont want to go lighter on point weight. At 29.5 you could lose the .5 and that could help also.

One other thing try to see the arrow in flight (without peeking around the bow) to see if it is flying nock left, sometimes target material can move an arrow on impact and you get a bad read.

Craig, Go to the A&H archery site (makers of ACS longbows) scan down the left side until you see knowledge base. Click on this and it gives you an option to download OL Adcock's printable version of " Tuning longbows and Recurves". I have found this to be a comprehensive resource that you can refer to with tuning problems. Note its about 17 or so pages long! P.S he covers the nock angle questions you raised.

Dry Creek

I have noticed that it is flying nock left without peeking.
Thanks for the input!
