Went up to TJ's tonight and got my arrows tunned and ready.  Now I just got to practice and order my broad heads, and then practice some more.  Hope to get out before the end of year and fill my last tag with my first Trad deer.  I can't hardly wait!  The journey begins.  Wish me luck!

Thanks again TJ for the help, your hospitality will never be forgotten.  I owe you big time.

Give us the details on what you got tuned in Dave.  The Tall Tines looks awesome btw!  TJ did for you in a few hours...what can take days and weeks when you're doing it on your own.  He's excellent and finding the coon tune on a bow!

Thanks guys. Didn't do anything any of us wouldn't do. Let me tell you, it won't be long before we see David in a hero shot. He shoots that new bow very well.

And kudos to TJ for being a mentor.  Having a few pointers up front can sure help get that traditional compass pointed right.

Due to all the overtime I working now.  I have only got to shoot in my garage at night.  I can get about 7 yards, which is good really; I can focus on form, and get me a groove before I start at longer distances.  Been shooting 50 or 60 arrows every night.  Yesterday I did get to shoot alittle before dark and backed up to 20 yards just to see what it was like.  Everythings seems to coming along.  I can honestly say this is the most fun I have every had shooting a bow.  Even got my first robin hood last night in the garage.  7 yards ain't far but it was still kinda cool.  Again a big thanks to everyone here and the folks that started this site, if not for you guys I may have never started this journey because I don't know to many people around here that shoot tradbows.

Got my vpa's yesterday and shot them some last night in the garage.  Hit just like my tips.  I hope to practice some today and tomorrow.  If I can get it grooved in at 10-15 yds.  I'll be sitting in the Oak Thicket Saturday morning at daylight.
