Hi all was just wondering if anybody knows where to get hot pink paint to dip arrows?  Ive tried Tru north arrows, rose city archery 3rivers and the Nocking Point.  I can't find it! Somebody please help!!!!!

I use spray paint from the hardware store. Just mark off the shaft with tape(a little farther down the tape about 6" down the shaft) and do lite coats turning the arrow as you go, 2-3 coats should do it.If you dip white coat first it will make the pink brighter.Tim

We have hot pink wraps and feathers, I've not seen dip paint in that color but I haven't looked for it either.

You can also use acrylic paints like you get in the craft section at Wally World and put it on the shafts with a sponge brush. Thin the paint a little with water before you use it. Sand your shafts with fine steel wool between coats.

Here is a photo of some I did with acrylic paints this year.

Thanks for the help.  Ive tried acrylic and it seams to chip off of carbons even after preping the shafts, and I wana stay away from wraps on these ones thaks though.

To each their own.  Fred Eichler shoots pink and I remember him saying that he never had an arrow taken cause nobody wanted 'em. They always found their way home. Sound logic

NO SIGHTS

I shoot pink. Mainly there is nothing is the woods pink so arras are hard to lose.

Also my mother has had breast cancer twice and she thinks its great that i support "the cause".

I do get hassled about pink till i bring that up.
And really if eichler can zing pink arras at grizzley bears at short range. Well... nuff said

in testing out fletch colors, the most visible under all conditions for me is hot pink ... that's what i'm fletching with for an upcoming hunt, but ONLY for carbons ...

... woodies DEMAND graybars ... seriously, woodies get real mad at me unless they're fletched with barred feathers!  :D

I think hot pink shows better than any other color under the majority of conditions.  I do a lot of natural barred and they are hard to see!  I just love the look and tradition.

Footed Shaft

AMG makes some VERY bright Hot Pink feathers...if you can find a source for them.
