I am sad to admit it but....

Whats the difference between an A riser and B riser?
also the difference between #1 and #3 limbs?

Looking at a kodiak T/D at 3rivers and not sure what I attempting to order.

It designates the difference in length.  In the 3Rivers catalog it shows the A riser with the #1 limbs make a 56" bow, or with the #3 limbs a 60" bow.  You can also get a 60" bow out of a B riser with #1 limbs.  Or a 64" bow on a B with the #3's.
So it boils down to your own preference for a short bow versus a longer one, smoothness of draw versus manuverability, etc.

My draw is about 29" and I opted for the A riser and #3 limbs, making a 60" bow.  I can tell a person with 30-31" should have no problem with the bow.  I recently picked up a set of #1 limbs and find this 56" bow handles my draw just fine.

These new TD's are quite an improvement, but did you know they are coming out with a bubinga riser in 2012?

Everyone is different.

My first "real" hunting bow was a one piece 60" Bear Super Kodiak recurve. I also have a 30" draw length.

I loved the looks of the SK, but with my 30" draw length, it gave me a severe case of finger pinch after about 35 minutes of continuous shooting. I sold the SK because of the finger pinch issue.

I might add, I have small hands and fingers. I shoot with a split finger tab; one over, two under and this probably contributed to my finger pinch.

So, this is the "other side of the story".
