Looks like you are having a great season.  That's a big muley doe!

It was nice of you to let your Dad have first crack at that buck. I believe your number should be up next. Time to show him, and the rest of us, how it's done. Good luck and looking forward to the future posts. Congrats on the doe. too. Nice shot!

Thanks guys for the kind words.  Yea been trying real hard to get my dad his first big deer (over 170) we've been on a bunch and honestly had more chances at big to giant deer then we deserve!  My dad lives up in Denver so he doesn't get the same chances I get down by my house.  I have big deer in the yard most days.   I'll be more then happy taking any buck, although I wont punch the tag on a little guy until Saturday or Sunday!

Where in Colorado are you located?

man, colorado posts make me envious. Hope you get that big one. Hunting mulies in the snow with a bow looks like a blast. some day i will make it out there

Okay, I was curious because I may be moving to the Colorado Springs area.

Keep enjoying yourself!  Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the doe my muley season doesn't start til Jan. 1 and I am getting antsy!  Love the Durango area that is where I grew up and still miss it.

Well season ran down and we were un able to arrow a nice buck.  Now I'll be back hunting predators and maybe a late season cow elk, we shall see!

Sorry you didn't connect on one with bone, but that was a great doe.  They'll be even bigger next year.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
