Bear Stag Hunter Questions/Help...

Got a freind who has a Bear Stag Hunter and I made a new flemish string for him but what is the recommended brace height for this bow? Also, I don't understand the 45/50#?? I mean, for arrow choices a lot can happen in difference of 5 pounds...any advice?

Oh, and is it cut past center or too center?
