I am completely new to Trad archery and archery in general, but this site and the members have helped me more than I ever expected. Particularly I want to mention the dealings I have had with some members lately. I did some trading and/or had a conversation with a few members here, Papa Frank, Chad Holm from Holm-Made Traditional Bows, Jim Gainey from Black Creek Bows, Gator1, park and swampdrummer. I can honestly say that these guys have been six of the most generous, kind, down to earth guys I have ever dealt with. In this day and age where we buy everything online and have no personal interaction, it is great to have such great dealings with people we have never met face to face. Chad is the only one I have met, (so far), and he and all the others treated me just like an old friend.

I cannot thank all of you guys enough for a great introduction into this great sport. Thanks to you guys I am able to have something that I can share with my kids that will hopefully be something they can use for life. Even if they don't stick with archery, the patience, respect for nature, camaraderie, are all skills they will learn.

Some good people here. I have found that if you ask a question you get good answers.

neat group of people here isn't it?!

I call this place home for a reason. When I first posted here I was overwhelmed. I have made friends here that will last a lifetime.

Welcome!

I find that with very, very few exceptions that goes for traditional bowhunting in general. But this site has really helped me too.

Now if you guys could please get these darn bucks to stop going to bed at dawn, I'll be fine!    :)

I have dealt with 3 out of 4 of the folks you mentioned....all great guys. Just a few of the many you can hook up with with out any regrets.
