hope all is well at home. thanks for the story. I'll have one next year I hope. I've been watching two bucks across from my house for the last few nights. Right in town....

    Thanks for sharing your hunt and pictures.

 We are still setting records for heat here makes it a little tough to get too excited about this weekends Elk opener. I'm going up and make the best of it and hope for some cooler temps.
 
   Hope you make it out again this season.

One question Uath no longer have a over the counter antlerless elk tag or I'm just mistaken thinking they did.

Thanks again guys. Porter I hope you guys can make it back out, I would like to spend some more time hunting with you guys. As far as the elk tags go, the spike/cow tags for archery are unlimited. Having said that there are a few units where only a spike may be shot.
" Just concentrate and don't freak out next time" my son Tyler(age 7) giving advise after watching me miss a big mulie.
