I just finished reading RC's post about his upbringing and the way he feels about things. I couldn't agree with him more. I remember those "Good Ole Day's" that he speaks of.
The good thing about it is he is correct about this place. I have made some very good friends, thanks to this place. Some I have hunted with and shot targets with. Others like Border Bob up in Lynchburg Va. and Mike in Jonesboro Ar. I have laughed with and at until my side felt like it was gonna bust. Only to regain composure to laugh again at a person running through the bush when I hollered out air plane.
Another person over in Athens Ga. "Froggy" has displayed an act of giving that has caused me set back and be completely stunned. Without going into alot of detail concerning a certain bow that I used to own. I got rid of the bow several years ago when I lost my job. The bow had some very very deep sentimental value. This past Sunday I noticed the bow in the classified section. I showed it to my wife and daughter knowing there was no way I could purchase it back, due to my twin daughters college tuition needing to be payed this week so I just closed the web page. I was sharing this with Froggy Monday morning when he called. Wednesday he was telling me that the bow appeared to have sold. I explained to him that I had not even looked anymore. Yesterday I came home and found a package inside from Oklahoma. I called my wife to find out what she had ordered from Oklahoma. Nothing she told me. My countryfied mother was yelling out at me as I was opening it,, "becareful, make sure there is no white powder in it". She would have made Jeff Foxworthy laugh. After I opened it I was stunned to find it was the bow. As I read the note attached  needless to say my eye's had became very blurry with tears. The seller informed me Froggy had worked a deal and my old bow had made it back home. Even without this act of kindness being done by Froggy, I knew that he was a man of deep faith and shares it with others.
There are many, many more that I have met on here and spent time with that I have watched give over and over of their time and talent. Danny Rowan, Marty Thompson and RC just to name a few more. I would like to say Thanks to the creators of Tradgang. Even though we all may not agree with everything we see and read here, this is a place where friends have been made and campfires have became alot more enjoyable.

Very cool!  A bow that already "had some very very deep sentimental value" just became a whole lot more special!

Thanks fellas & CJ for the kind words. I know without a shadow of a doubt that given the shoes were turned that CJ would have not hesitated doing the same for me or others. Will also chime in on the great friendships I have formed here with ones I have met, and those I yet to one day. A special place for sure. I was just glad I was able to get the bow home to you that was a special memory of your Papa's last days... Proud to do it actually ! Now with that said, don't let her go again....   ;)  , or I might have to make a house call and "pop yo knot'.   :knothead:
