Lots of good reviews for surewood shafts. Unfortunatly their out of 60-65's. Talked to one of the quys @ surewood he said not any time soon.

Any other good sponsors that carry douglas fir shafts ?

Thanks

Okie man

I got a dozen from Braveheart Archery and they were nice and straight.  They got them to me fast too. I would definitely buy from them again.

I ordered the "hunter grade" from Surewood Shafts because both they and Braveheart were out of that spine in "premium". Gotta say they're an excellent shaft...if they still have some. Good luck.

3Rivers has some tapered and parallel

I ordered a dozen from Three Rivers over a month ago and they're still on backorder.

I'm trying chundo next.  Good thing I have 8 Surewoods ready to shoot and another 6 on standby.  Hopefully the supply will return before I run out.

I'll check the length tonight. I checked and I do have some can't shoot them now had to drop weight. Now if I can sell the Liberty English I shot them out of.

I feel obligated to say that I'm sorry for (probably) being the cause of this.  I bought a couple dozen to see how I would like these shafts as an alternative to cedar shafts (I have an alergy to cedar), and I liked them so much I bought 10 dozen of there "Hunter" grade shafts, made a bunch of arrows, then I ordered another 10 dozen because I love them so much.  I'm probably good till this January or so, then I will probably order another 10 dozen for my Motor City Machetes.

Everybody has figured out that there is a better alternative (just my opinion) to cedar out there.

I have not yet broke one, and I have had some shots into rocks while hunting chipmunks that I just know the cedars I had would have been destroyed.

I can not say enough good things about Douglas Fir shafts.  They are my choice from here on out.

Glad you found them to your liking Mike. I fully agree and have enjoyed them for years. They are "the best douglas fir shafts" out there today!

Sometimes if you check with Fletchers like Paul at Badger Arrow, they may have an extra dozen lying around they may be willing to sell you.
