Woodmen Broadheads

Can anyone share with me their experience with Woodmen broadheads.  Are they as good as they are advertised to be?  I was looking to give them a try versus a zwickey or magnus two blade.  Thanks!

I have used them for several years, great head. Be sure and take the tip down a bit though. It's anchored plenty of game for me.

I shoot 125 grain Woodsman out of my Lost Creek 47# @ 28 and they shoot perfectly.  I mean perfectly straight!  I am using a 3555 Gold tip shaft cut to 29". I have a 50 grain insert up front for a total of 175 grains.  Haven't shot a deer with them yet because I passed up a shot on two opening day last year because I wanted to wait for a larger buck. Did'nt get much time to hunt after that.

I just shot a hog yesterday with about a 520 grain wooden arrow (125 grain woodsman elite) and it passed right through and buried itself into a stump 15 yards away with my 55#@28" martin bamboo viper. Arrows had no wobble or anything due to the head, it flew "as straight as an arrow"   :p .  It was my first hunt so i can't say i've had much experience with other broad heads, just sharing my result.

almost 3:1 ratio, fly well, good penetration with lower holding weight stick bows, easy to sharpen, leave a BIG hole for good blood trailin'.  it's my 'go to' broadhead.

Great heads made even better in the Woodsman Elite version.  I especially like the heavier non-vented heads.  I've found the Elites take a lot less work to get true and sharp.
