Can you shoot a bow tilled for split finger using three under without any adverse effects and the opposite? Thinking about fiddling around and trying some three under. '=/

Sure you can. You may have to raise the nock point a bit.
Lots of posts on this subject so a search will get you a lot of info.

I won't hurt a thing. I went from shooing my bow tillered for split to 3 under. I am still shooting it that way. I called my bowyer 1st and double checked, but he said it wouldn't hurt. I have spoken with other bowyers and they said the same thing.

Here is another thread on the subject...

Hope this helps.

All of my recurves are tillered split, but I shoot them three under.  My nocking point is usually about 1/8" or so above where it would be for split.  Seems to work fine, but my bows are a little louder shooting three under than shooting split.  I am more accurate shooting three under though so I put up with the slight increase in noise.  Three under also allows me to shoot relatively pain free in the fall when my fingers are all cracked and bloody.

Yea would have helped to do a search, I often never think about using the feature '=/
