Are Lonewolf stands now made in China? I hope not.

Morning Star

They were for a while, but they recently moved production back here.

Maybe Whip will chime in here, he address this a little while ago I believe.

Yep, old news.  Get one from Whip at Prarie Traditions...he only has brand new USA made Lone Wolf products.  It is wonderful to see a company realize their mistake and bring things back here.

Whip

Right, Lone Wolf is one of those nice USA success stories.  Followed the trend of moving production overseas, but realized the drop in quality and refused to accept that.  They have now moved all production back to the US, including the platform castings.

If you're looking for anything just let me know.  I have some of the more popular items listed on my website and in stock, and can of course get any of the Lone Wolf product line for you.

Steve, I'll have your mini step at PBS next weekend

Is there an easy way to tell USA vs China for those of us that search the used resources?

:dunno:

Good question on USA vs Chinese Lone wolfs.

It looks like the 2011 models are USA, but some of the 2010 ones are not.  I see them for trade or sell, so how can we tell the difference?

Sticks.are silverish instead of dark the platform was easily differentiate bc of the poor quality mold ie the lol bumps for grip just looked horrible I've seen a couple.and that's the best I can do I own a 2011 assault with 4 sticks.best stand ever IMO

I am, as we speak, going through a whitetail catalog marking what all is an "import". I am sadly surprised at how many items are imported.

They're back in the U.S., in fact made right here in my home town in Wisconsin. Schlaggerman has one of each, and says the import feels a little heavier, and the edge work on the platform is sharper than the good ones.

GWV

I just bought the sit and climb and "made in the USA" is cast into the platform underneath it.

Perhaps the China made stands should be re-named as "LONE PANDA".

All this talk about LW moving the company back to the US is all well and good. I just hope that support is also shown by purchasing their products. I am doing my part by adding footrests to my LW hand climber stand. I also sent them a e-mail applauding and thanking them for moving the company back to the USA. Just my 2 cents.     -Eric

Good point Z Man there is a big difference between something that is made here and what is just sold here. I will follow your lead about the email and perhaps others will too. We need to buy local products.

A good way to insure the financial well being of traditional archery suppliers is to simply refuse to buy foreign made products.  The global economy helps the globalists.  The math has never added up, ship all of our production over seas, get all of our raw materials from over seas, send all of our money over seas, move our corporate bases over seas and we will have it so much better here. "Well what will we do then?" "You will be a service economy."  They are a bunch of (!)s. Buy all trad gear American made.

Buck Knives moved back to the USA.

If the tree stand barks, (dog food), or smells (sheetrock) it was made their.
