Lots of good thoughts here.  As far as dream hunts go, if you are interested in Africa, I still feel it is the best bang for the buck.  I've gone 3 times and have never spent more than 7K for the hunt.  This does not include taxidermy!  I went on a caribou hunt once and absolutely loved it, but the cost of it nowadays normally makes me think about Africa again.  Hard to beat staying in 4 star accomodations, eating fantastic food, and seeing a multitude of different species each day.
Currently, I'm with Ryan on this one.  Putting most of my focus on whitetails and turkeys....at least untill I can afford to go back to Africa!

The Doc is telling me I probably won't be fit to get out in the woods until at least January, my dream is to prove him wrong and get at least a few days in the woods during deer season.

I'm actually going on one of my dream hunts in a little over a month.  A group of friends and I are heading to Ontario, black bear hunting, in August.  I'd also like to hunt whitetails on the Milk river someday.  TRW

Just read bartcanoe's post.  Good luck proving your doctor wrong.  Just remember doctors only "practice" medicine and are often wrong.  Best of luck to you, TRW
