Carp Stung by Wasp!

Stung by my Browning Wasp that is. This is my first fish with this bow, finally. Just haven't been able to go bowfishing much and then when we did go, we didn't see anything. So, we went out this evening and saw a few, but most of them were out there a pretty good ways. Then, finally I was able to connect on a fairly long shot, after about my fourth shot or so at 'em. Not a huge one for sure, but still it put up a pretty good fight! Hope to go again real soon........

nice, im supposed to head out this friday for my first bowfishing outing.. any aadvice other than aim low? lol

Yes, aim low unless they're right on top of the water.

Sweet!! I use an old Browning Wasp  for fishin' too!  Went out yesterday with my daughter----no luck for us though. Just a lot of looking!!


Besides...those smaller carp are just that much harder to hit!

Yeah, good advice on the polarized sunglasses, unless it's very late in the evening. I had to take mine off because of the clouds and it was also getting late too.

Don't wear a white shirt! Aim low. Have fun! Bowfishing is the best spring/summertime activity ever invented!
