I'm thinking about trying the Treesharks but was wondering if my set up is heavy enough to get good penetration with such a wide head. My total arrow weight with the 190gr Treeshark would be 480gr. and my arrow speed would be 183fps. Do any of you guys shoot these heads with similar set ups? I'll be using them on average sized whitetails.

If its sharp, it will drive right through them with that setup. BIG blood trail, too.

I was having a hard time deciding between the Treeshark or the Interceptors. I think I'm going to go with the Treesharks.

YES! You have enough energy. Get em sharp and leave a BT Stevie Wonder could follow.

My only suggestion would be to use the glue on model and get a screw in adaptor for it.  End weight should end up at 205 grains.  I only say this because the screw in model will cause you to have to add an inch or so to your arrow length because of how they are made.  No doubt about getting some though!

I shoot a 49 @ 28 set up and have had good success with the Simmons heads. I'm shooting very close to your same total weight. Just be sure to get them sharp.
