Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has shot a black widow PL? How do they shoot?

Rick Butler

I've got 3 of them they're great longbows, very smooth and easy to shoot, but that said I prefer their recurves.

I own two PLs.  Smooth, accurate and fast.  Add an SBD string and heavy arrows and they are whisper quiet.  I really like their T/D design.  And I think the beavertail grip is well worth the extra money.

They shoot great, now if the shooter can do his part   :readit:    :goldtooth:    :jumper:

The PL is the bow to end all bows (for me). I love mine and my third will be here at the end of the month.

Thought I should add... they are very hard on arrows. Many broken nocks and split arrows if I don't aim at separate target spots.

Plan on being Nixa, MO on the 22 of this month to order mine. Shot one at the HH shoot this weekend, and was able to put them in the kill zone, immediatly. It is a great shooting bow.
I always hit where I'm aiming, but rarely where I'm looking.

Very nice shooting Longbows ... smooth, quiet, solid, fun to shoot. I have a PL V T/D 64" 53#@28 ... certainly not my fastest LB but a great shooter.

Mine is a great shooter, beautiful to look at, quiet, and just an absolute pleasure to carry and launch arrows with.

66" Take-down PLX, 48# @ 31", Beaver-tail, Toby grip.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

I have two with a third planned for order this fall.

62" 51# @ 28" PL X  Cocobolo and Bocote, one piece.  Its a rifle shooting AD Nitro Stingers and Trad Lites.

64" 44 @ 28" PL II TD Same here with with the stingers and X Weave 100's

I am most satisfied with these bows.  They shoot well and, although I modify the grips to suit me, everything about them is top notch.

I have one (64", 58#@29", TD, osage).  I love it.  I've never shot a smoother, friendlier longbow.

I have a PLGA and really love it.  It is smooth and fast.  Pretty too!

PLX Osage for me. Very smooth on the draw and plenty quick enough. Mine has the LAG grip.
It's a keeper.
