Finally got the time and initiative to post up some pics of my latest Hog Heaven mission. No pigs killed on this hunt but as usual, it turned into a hunt/road trip and time with friends and family.
                I gotta say, I HATE SKEETERS!!! Especially when they make that insanity inducing noise that overpowers everything and sounds muck like a burglar alarm. Not that it will stop me from hunting alongside em again but I hate em.
                Pig sign was absolutely everywhere, several time I had pig tracks in my own boot prints after I had passed through an area.
                As usual the swamp offered up several new to us discoveries. Saw one biiiiiiiiig snake but he got into a bank of poison ivy before I could catch up to him which therefore made him very safe. Saw a handfull of young gators, deer and turkey. As ususal Rays cooking satisfied our appetites and then some.
           
                Dont let this 1st pic leak out to the media or the Feds will soon descend upon the SC swamps in hordes.

This last pic is on the way home. We found this and one other dog sitting on this doe like hyenas waiting for her to die. Shed been hit by a car and her legs were broken. We saw a cop up the road and told him that we ran the dogs off but she was hurt badly. He said hed go back and put her down. That was the end of the trip, now for picking next years weekend.

Thanks for the photos.  It must be Heaven because I see you were with the angel.  I hope to get to visit there someday.  I haven't hunted in the swamp since 1990 or 91.

Thanks for the pics Izzy.  I've never been in that part of the country but hope to someday.  A hog hunt sounds like a great time.
