I use Meguiar's spray speed detailer wax on alot of different things, including bows.

Imperial Sizing Die wax makes a good rust preventative for tools and broadheads.

Bowstring wax and flytieing wax both work for keeping screwin points and broadheads from loosening.

I get the Imperial wax from Midway. They sell reloading supplies. It also works on bowstrings, and doesn't take too long to rub into the string.

"butchers wax"  for hard wood floors works great  protects and really helps    leave it alone after wiping it on and it dries to a brownish haze ( like car wax)     and dull I put it on   for camo as much as protection and it serves both purposes Then wipe it off and its back to new

Remember that your bow is like a fine piece of furniture.
Regular cleaning and waxing will enhance the beauty of the bow and will help prolong it's life, especially if you shoot in a damp, or rainy conditions.  It is good to see water beading off the limbs.
I do mine on a regular basis.
Archery is a family sport, enjoy it with your family.

I like Johnson's paste wax.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Gunstock wax from Birchwood-Casey does a real good job. Been using it for years.
