Anyone get their Grand Slam for turkeys with Trad equipment? Thinking about giving it a try before I cash in my chips.lol.

Very close to my second Slam.       :bigsmyl:        Takes some patience if you do it unguided like I did but yes doable. Go for it .  Floridian bird could be costly. thank goodness for my buddy Marty in Jupiter. Set your sights and og for it...if I can help , just let me know...good luck
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

I will probably try and get at least the 4 sub-species in the U.S. at some point.  Don't really have an interest in the turkeys in Mexico or South America.  Deer and other big game fire me up way more than turkeys, but I still enjoy hunting them.  Good luck in your quest!  By the way, I have an office in Grove City, we'll have to get together sometime and shoot or go hunting.  Take care, Sam

Go for it! I completed mine in 1990, for North America. But have still not been able to complete the "World Slam". Remember after the Eastern, Rio, Merriam's, Gould's, and Osceola, there is the Ocellated Turkey of Central and South America.
I intend to return to the Yucatan in the near future to try for my Ocellated and also for a Brocket Deer Buck.
The Ocellated Turkey is the most colorful of all the Turkey species. Kind of resembles a cross between a Turkey and a Peacock.

A professor of mine in college completed the "World Slam" back in the late 90s.  His wife completed her's as well at that time.  Now this was shotgun hunting.  It truly impressed me at the time and still does.  But hearing that you guys are successfully slamming with traditional gear is amazing.
