An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I'm very happy for you, 'but for the Grace of God there goes any one of us'.

I pray for your continued rehabilitation as a bow-puller!

My issue wasn't near as severe as yours but I was restricted to 2 shots/month out of a 20# bow from January, 2009-August, 2009. That episode complete shut down my earlier attempt to return to recurves until 2010.

Glad to hear you're back in.  What a loss if you couldn't.  Hard to think about.  Don't over do it and go get'em.

First off welcome to the bypass club...  and then welcome back.  I had three and a lazer..

My doctor let me return to shooting my shotgun after 90 days and said I could shoot my bows when I could pull them but to go slow.

Its tough waiting, I know, but sounds like you are on your way.

I also know that there are other things going on during recovery that you are dealing with.  If ya ever want to talk about that PM me....

There's been some low's along the way. March 1st I had a second heart attack after one of my bypasses failed. They cleaned out my original artery and put a stent in.

They have me on the most powerful bloodthinner made now. I wear a coat if it's under 70* outside!    :saywhat:
