I was given 2 left turkey wings the other day. The birds were killed Saturday. I removed the feathers and washed them two days ago. Was wondering if I could go ahead and cut and grind them to make fletchings or do they need to dry out before I do that? I'm not talking about were I washed them. But do they need to go through some natural drying process or so (In other words cure)?

Turkey feathers do not need to be washed.  Perhaps rinsed to get out a blood stain, but other than that, it's not necessary.  When I dye feathers, it usually only takes a few hours for them to dry.  Yours should be ready for processing.

Split and grind them. They're ready if you are.
