Anyone shoot a Verna? How does it compare to the Fred Bear Montana (which I hear is a good bow for the money - not the fastest though)
Thanks

i know a few guys that shoot them for 3d aswell as hunting & they all really rate them ,also being a copy of a widow for a lot less can only be a good thing   ;)  if you like a shorter bow the verna is only 64" long .i think the montana is longer & has a more traditional longbow grip .
the verna has a locator grip .
hope thats of some help ?

SCATTERSHOT

As I recall, George D. Stout had one and liked it. You might shoot him a PM and see what he says.
"Experience is a series of non - fatal mistakes."

I shoot one, i love it.Mines 60# at 28. Comming from shooting recurves it took a little while to get used to the grip but i would have it no other way now, shoots right where im looking. Very little handshock and works fine in a blind. I give it a thumbs up! hope this helps!
