I found the Braveheart Carbon Hunter 60/75 arrows for $90.00 per dozen. I was wondering if you thought that they would be close for my bow or not.

Bow details:
Blue Ridge Snowy Mountain recurve I am not sure about centershot or how close it really is sorry.
54lbs@27" which is pretty much what I shoot.

A friend of mine has some 28.75" AD Nitro Stinger YELLOW label with aluminum insert and a 260 gr head that I shot out of the bow and they worked really well with the bow, the AD are 350, and the Braveheart are .340.

Do you think that the Carbon Hunters 60/75 would be in the right general area?
Ask me about CTO.

Prairie Drifter

sounds stiff, but I could be wrong

I would be looking at about 250 or so grains up front. So I am not sure if that would change anything or not.
Ask me about CTO.

Shawn Leonard

Go with 275 up front and you will be close with a 29" arrow. Shawn

I find the spine on a tapered carbon like AD's does not equal the same spine on a straight carbon. The tapered design is more forgiving in my experience.

Chester Thompson

Yeah I did not know that about the AD's, but Braveheart told me that, so I am hoping to get close.
Ask me about CTO.

If you put the deflection of the 60/75 more people could help.  Just taking a guess I think you'd need a deflection around .500.  What your friend is shooting sounds might stiff.  I shoot one bow at 51 at 29 with 285 up front and use .500.
I'm not putting up with this guys shit and dogging me.
