We didn't get any rabbits, but we saw a few and got a few shots! My girls were kind of upset  that they weren't the ones to get shots at the rabbits we did see.

Everyone lined up waiting on a rabbit.

The rabbit did make an appearance too! Jake is a great slow working beagle and runs the rabbits perfect for bow hunting.

We just need to do better shooting. I actually hit one the day before, but it still got away. The arrow hit a bunch of brush getting to the rabbit and must of lost too much momentum to do any real damage with the hex head.

All in all it was a fun day and good scent conditions for the dog. Hopefully there will be plenty more in the future!

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥
