I have a soft case for one of my recurves, would it be fine to store the bow in there vertical on a peg, bottom limb not touching the ground at all.

From what I've heard on here as long as the bottom limb is not carrying the weight of the bow, it's ok.. I remember reading something about recurves tending to twist the limb over time.

Then again, some people might say that as long as you don't use it as a crowbar, it'll survive^^

Safest bet still is dismantled, in a soft case.

Thanks, I just did exactly that.

Even in a case, if hung vertically, the lower limb will feel the weight of the bow.  Why not lay it flat, like under a bed?

Would put under the bed, but my little one's would be all over it.

I don't think I buy the hype that the 1.3 lbs of my bow will twist the limb from sitting vertically against the wall.
