Athough I have been registered since 2006 it's only been this year that I have been serious with Trad equipment and made the choice to change. Well I have really fell in love with shooting recurve but have had to work through a few things and this site has provided so much info I just wanted to say thanks for all those who post in reply to questions on form, tuning etc. My biggest hurdle was a wear mark on the outside of shelf and I worked through it between my own posts and search. Steps I took, more weight up front on existing arrows, made a difference but still not great. Bought new arrows and used spine calculator and tuning methods and was getting really good flight but still getting a mark but it was smaller and moved more to the outside. I then raised nock point at very small inciments and it pretty much took away the issue but could still detect a small disturbance on shelf material. I then went to a double nock set up, well that seems to be the key for me. No more hitting on shelf, no more damaged feathers, well except for the ones that get hit from shooting tighter groups with everything set up right. So once again thank you very much.

The folks on this sight are the best and aim to please!

I'm always happy to help someone acknowledge the good that comes from our tradgang family.

I also appreciate those who take the time to say "thank you".

God bless,Mudd

always something to learn.  Great and knowledgeble people here.  I read most questions to try to learn more.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
