I you use wraps or crest on your arrows does it change the FOC much to notice or just need to retune, bare shaft, or paper, or no worries just leave it.   :dunno:

Most wraps weigh around 10-12 grs.,thats not much but I prefer to have my wraps on when I'm tuning my arrows.

should not make much difference at all
if you can have them on when you tune but i doubt you will be able to tell the difference

I reduced cap and fletch weight on some arrows by 9 grains recently. It increased FOC 1 %.They still fly OK but I haven't bare shafted them yet.Adding or taking away weight in the rear affects things more than the same weight would on the front end.You would just have to shoot them and see.

In the past I have had some shafts that were boderline weak when I bareshafted, put reflective wraps on and to my amazement it stiffened them just enough.

difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

I love the look of a nice crested or wrapped arrow, and want to learn how to crest my own arrows.

Get some wraps from "onestringer" who's a sponsor on here I believe. They make the best wraps I've ever used. Go to 3 Rivers and check out the videos they have on the site and watch how to put wraps on.
You can watch the vids for free.
