I ordered a new Abbott Longbow today! I called and talked to Steve and he rcommended a 66" bow for my 27.5-28" draw length, so I ordered a 66" 43#@28". Cocobolo riser and overlays, Yew limbs. I've never had a Yew bow, looking forward to checking it out. Steve was very nice to talk with on the phone. Will let ya'll know what I think when I get er....KYArcher

Steve is a great guy and makes a really nice bow.

One of the three Abbott's I've owned was a cocobolo/yew bow. Absolutely beautiful and a really good bow. I thought it shot smoother and quicker than the coco/osage Abbott I had.

I currently have a bacote/curly maple that I shoot great. I break more nocks with it than with my Brack Quest! That says a lot about how well they shoot.

You will bond well with your new Abbott!

One of my two has yew limbs. You will not regret your decision for either the wood combo or the bow itself.
