This is the second of two composite bows that were lent to me today. I posted the other on another thread. Just looking for what info anyone can give on this bow.

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Thanks for the info, Mudd. Just so happens the owner has a horse, I will tell her.
I did not tell about this bow; it is backed with what looks like red leather, and the belly has some sort of brown glue/thick finish applied to it. No arrow rest at all; which end is up?
The writing on it is hard to read, not sure if I am looking at the English alphabet or what.
I did not put a scale on it, but it feels like mid 50s at my 28DL. Really stacks past that, made me nervous.
I tried a GT5575 with 275g in front, and it shot like it was way too heavy and too stiff, but it was interesting to see all those curves straighten out at full draw.
Interesting what is sitting around in people's closets. Reminds me of Antique Roadshow.

It does look like a Grozer Scythian - an early model perhaps. His early models are usually solid fiberglass limbs and covered in leather.

How did the lady acquire these bows? The Hungarian and the Scythian models have been around for about 15 years now.

I think they are leftovers from a previous marriage, but it is just a guess. I will ask after I get to know her better....

It's a beauty whatever it is. Always like the horsebows & they'll fling an arrow quick. Just too short for my style.
